Suddenly, I feel like taking a break from totallyrandom. I wanted to write on somethin.. Hmmm…. what? anything!

I’ve always envied people who can be friends with their parents, they can go shopping with their moms, they can sit down and chit chat with their dads. I don’t know why, because just my dad and me, even as simple as sitting down together for a meal just wasn’t a natural thing to do.

Recently, i had my first experience of being alone with Pail’s parents, my future in-laws. Haha.. can you imagine, how freaked out I was? Haha.. by right, I was on 2 days MC due to the strained neck muscle, but Pail’s dad blood pressure suddenly shot up quite high that his arm and leg felt numb. Pail asked if I could accompany his parents to the hospital for check-up. Of course I am more than willing to do that, in fact, I should have offered help earlier de…

I made my way to KTPH to meet up with them, and saw them seated outside the A&E, waiting for me! Awwww.. i dunno, I just felt.. wow they are waiting for me to go in together? Haha.. the nurses and doctors talked to me thinking I’m the daughter. You know, it certainly feels better to the patient if there is someone waiting with you, so that you know you are not alone. Haha.. from checking the BP, ECG.. to brain CT Scan.. I think we spent a few hours (also a few hundred bucks @_@), sitting and going in and out of different rooms talking to different doctors and nurses. >_< That's the thing about govt hospitals.. In between the waits, we had lunch together at the food court. Seeing his dad crack jokes to cheer his mum up... I felt touched. I'm not exaggerating at all, I loved the feeling of love around me. Besides, his mum chatted with me too, she told me about how she is being brought up, how many sisters and brothers she had, and how tough is it being the eldest of all. These meant great deal to me, I enjoyed hearing stories, but I think she's gonna repeat the stories over and over again soon. Haha.. Ok, so that's my first alone experience with my future in-laws, wasn't at a great place nor were there any great occasion, but I was glad I could offer a wee bit of help. 🙂
